Lisbon Cathedral Tickets

When we arrived, there was a long queue so we got tickets online. It was very easy and fast. This way, we were able to enter the castle right away without having to do tedious queues. The castle is beautiful, there are many spots where you can see a beautiful view of the city. It was a hot day but inside there is a small bar under the plants, where you can have a drink or ice cream to cool off..

Buy your tickets online and skip the queue! Also scan the app once inside to get your free audio on your phone. The views from the Castel were amazing. Incredible fortress in its day. Plenty of room to move around the grounds

What I loved most about this experience was the ease of presenting the e-ticket, and of course seeing the inside of the monastery, it is truly beautiful. The bad thing, the waiting time to enter, today I had a long line at 11 am and I was able to enter until 12:50 pm.

The place is beautiful and worth the experience. Arrive very early, or after 1pm, to avoid huge queues. Wear sunscreen and bring a hat.

It was a beautiful day! We bought our tickets in an Uber. When we got to the Castle, there was a long queue to buy a ticket and we went straight in! It was great!!!!

Had a wonderful visit to the monestry. Avoided the early queues by going mid afternoon and enjoyed the beautiful cloisters without too many others spoiling the views!! Only dispappointment was to find the Church closed due to renovation work, so check before visiting.

The tickets were easy to purchase on line through this site. The Jeronimous monastery is worth the visit. This intricate, stunning architecture is incredible to see close up.

Due to a ticket taker strike it took a few minutesto find an online ticket portal, however after we had ourtickets the staff guided us in and we had a wonderful time exploring the castle.

I had high hopes for São Jorge Castle—and it did not disappoint. The views alone are worth the visit. Perched high above the city, the castle offers stunning panoramic views of Lisbon's red-tiled rooftops, the Tagus River, and the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. It’s the perfect spot for photos, especially around sunset! The castle itself is rich in history and has a bit of a rugged charm—lots of ancient stone walls, towers you can climb, and hidden corners to explore. It feels authentic, not overly restored, which I appreciated. You can really imagine what it might have been like centuries ago. There’s also a peaceful garden area with peacocks roaming around, which was a fun surprise! If you're into history, there’s a small museum and some archaeological ruins onsite as well. All in all, a fantastic mix of history, views, and atmosphere.

The monastery is beautiful but I thought that once inside you could visit more areas. We could only see the cloister and if you wanted to see the church you had to line up again. Also in the email it did not specify that you had to download the app to get the qr. They should send it by email. Once we got to the entrance after the line, we had to leave to download the app and go back in.

San Jorge castle has nice views and a good audioguide but the combo is useless. As a family of 5 we didn't really appreciate the tower, it was really not worth it to pay that much. Things are uselessly expensive in Lisbon.

The online tickets did not work using the entrance scanner and the attendant did not speak English. Made the experience uncomfortable. Not sufficient signage at entrance for pre-purchase entry

Nice experience. You can feel the history around. The museum is a must to visit. You will spend one to one and a half hour stepping up to the highest towers and visiting several other interesting curiosities.

Definitely worth getting tickets in advance to avoid the queue the Castle is beautiful with amazing views of Lisbon. We particularly enjoyed the camera obscurer as well and the church bell tower and drink was a nice little extra.

The views were so great, with good shade, and a kiosk for refreshments. ruins etc were interesting. I wish there was more context/informative signs.

Amazing views across Lisbon in every direction. Not crowded at all. We enjoyed walking around the walls. The permanent exhibition of artifacts wasn't very interesting.

I had problems presenting the tickets, they were not recognized. We asked a person from the Castle for help. We liked the castle very much.

Easy to book tickets onlime and it avoided considerable queues. Views of Lisbon were superb and loved seeing the peacocks, especially the family groups. Would love to have visited when more shade was available.

Beautiful grounds, really enjoyed wondering around and super views. Also enjoyed the museum aspect. Bathrooms could do with a bit of work though.

We loved the site and the dark room, which you have to visit between 11am and 4pm on a sunny day. We enjoyed the friendliness of the site and made some wonderful discoveries. There were peacocks and their babies all over the site, and a lovely terrace. We could have picnicked too A must-see!

The admission process was very slick, no queueing for tickets. The castle is awesome. The views are spectacular.
