Things to know before booking your Hippotrip tickets
Booking window
Tickets must be booked online in advance. Tours often sell out 3–4 weeks before peak days (as of 2026-05-01). Arrive with an allocated time slot to secure your spot.
What’s included
Your ticket covers a 90‑minute guided amphibious tour with live commentary and basic safety equipment, including lifejackets. Note that no monuments or meals are included in the standard package.
Entrances & flow
Boarding takes place at Doca de Santo Amaro, where you must show your voucher and join the group check‑in. There is no skip‑the‑line benefit; seating is on a first‑come basis.
Ways to explore
The tour is a nonstop panoramic loop of Lisbon’s streets and Tagus River. Use nearby public transport, taxi, or a short walk from central Lisbon to reach the departure point easily.
Policies & rules
Arrive 15–20 minutes early for check‑in. Be aware that boarding involves steps and there are no onboard toilets. Commentary may alternate languages; plan accordingly for weather-related adjustments.
